SCOTTSDALE BROKER LAUNCHES NEW REAL ESTATE COMPANY AMID DOWN MARKET
Against the Odds of the Current Real Estate Market, Long Time Valley Broker Sees Opportunity in the Changing Market
and Starts New Venture that Caters to the Real Estate Agents.

May 1st,2009, Scottsdale, Arizona, Larry Dignan ,G.R.I. Designated Broker  and owner of For Sale in Arizona, sees opportunity in the current real estate downturn and starts a new brokerage that caters to agents seeking a better business model that better suits today’s high tech agents. The local real estate market has caught the eyes of the nation as we enter an era that is unprecedented in our nation’s history, yet some see opportunity as the real estate brokerage models are evolving in result of the current market conditions.

Larry Dignan states, “Real estate brokerage models have been evolving since the advent of the internet and the bricks and mortar is weighing down these companies like an anchor.” “Today’s real estate professional works on the go, utilizing the latest technology available to them.” “Passing on the cost of a storefront to the agents is taking money out of their pockets and they realize this.”  Dignan, a sixteen year veteran has worked for large corporate franchise companies and states that the money spent on building leases and phone equipment alone is astronomical. He states that he has seen many companies in the metro area scale back 30% and more on their offices and cut company staffs in half as a result of the change in the current real estate market.

Not only are real estate companies making changes to their business models and going virtual, many retailers are changing their structures as well, which is clearly evident in the vacant storefronts  seen while driving through town. For years, real estate companies have been trying to create a “better mousetrap” but, at the end of the day they fail to address their sole resource, the agent. Dignan’s company structure For Sale in Arizona is one that leverages the technology available to the real estate agent today and the savings are directed back to the agent which in turn helps the individual build their own business, rather than feed the company’s bottom line. Dignan states , “There is no longer need for file cabinets as all forms and transaction documents are stored online.” Dignan also states, “Traditionally an  office has been a place for agents to send a fax, send documents or pick up forms, now they have this ability on their Blackberry’s and other handheld devices.” The real estate industry has always attracted the entrepreneurial type.  For Sale In Arizona is a perfect example as it offers the agents the structure, support and professionalism needed to conduct their business. This model does not weigh an agent down with unnecessary fees for services they do not utilize or see value in.

Larry began his real estate career in 1993 and obtained his broker’s license in1996. Past accomplishments include:  President for the White Mountain Association of Realtors in 2000, named Realtor of the Year in 1999 served as a director from 1994 to 2000 and on various other committees within the association. An Arizona resident since 1979 and originally from the Chicago area. Larry serves as a panel member for the Arizona Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee and also serves as Vice President for the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors.        FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ARIZONA REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE CREATES CLICK AND MORTAR BUSINESS MODEL THAT EMBRACES TODAY’S GREEN MOVEMENT.

Long time valley real estate broker opens virtual real estate brokerage that embraces technology and reduces carbon emissions through utilizing today’s technology and virtual offices.

June 1st, 2009, Scottsdale, AZ, Larry Dignan designated broker of, For Sale In Arizona has built what many believe is the “Wave” of the future for real estate companies. Dignan explains, “Most agents do not utilize the bricks and mortar many brokerages offer, and agree that their productivity increases when working from a home office”. “Working out of a brick-and-mortar office really is a thing of the past,” "Aside from productivity, the impact on the environment is lessened when agents don’t make that daily drive to the office. Dignan states,” The carbon footprint of a real estate office is huge when you consider the utilities needed to run the hvac systems, phone systems, lights and office equipment alone.”

For years there have been studies and pilot programs done evaluating the “Virtual Office”, and with the current changes in markets throughout the nation Dignan feels his timing couldn’t better. Between the rising cost of gas and the concern over effects on the environment, a true paperless virtual model makes more sense than ever. “The Realtors are who are really reaping the benefit” Dignan states and he is able to pass on the savings to the agents with larger commissions.

“It’s a real plus”, Dignan noted. “All of our agents have online access to all of their documents 24/7 from their home offices.” Rather than having thousands upon thousands of transactions documented on paper, they file all of the items electronically, saving a small forest or two in the process. For Sale In Arizona is utilizing the online transaction management system offered through the state association which has been approved through the Arizona Department of Real Estate. The system also allows clients, title companies, inspectors and mortgage professionals to access documents on demand from anywhere. Dignan explains,” With the ability to complete an entire transaction virtually paperless, the cost and environmental impact alone are tremendous!”

Dignan further explains “The changes in technology are transforming business models, and the real estate industry is one that is going through a real alteration at this time.” The wave of the future is here, and adapting now will ensure your business will not be pulled out by the tide.”  “Brick and Mortar is moving to” Click and Mortar”, and soon entirely “Virtual.” For Sale In Arizona will become the model of the future for agents that desire to retain more of their commissions while being more environmentally friendly.
